FASOL, A.C. arises from the experience of people involved and concerned with social and environmental issues in Mexico, FASOL has worked since 2001, with Global Green Grants Fund, channeling more than 185 grants to grassroots groups.

The foundations are supported on FASOL 6 years of experience working and GGF funds in Mexico. Since our formation in August 2007 we have:

1. increased by nearly 40% of our funds to support more groups and for training FASOL
2. Strengthened the basic social and environmental organizations
3. Managed to be a window of hope for those groups that have never been subject of trust.

FASOL is part of GGF Alliance Fund, a group of allies with whom we share ideology and work - GGF * HOME * *- SANDHANA. And we work together to raise funds locally, nationally and internationally to build a basic capacity for social and environmental action. Through this alliance donors have a reliable response channel to support the action of base and build a local philanthropy.

The initial financial support FASOL, GGF and individuals coming from Mexico. Today we also received funding from The Christensen Fund and the WINGS Global Fund for Community Foundation.
